Welcome to the home of the Kiwanis Club of Lubao Gems—a volunteer service organization in Lubao, Pampanga, Philippines, and part of the Kiwanis family.
Since our charter in 2015, we have brought together people from different professions, backgrounds and places who share one belief:
Children deserve people who care.
From the mountains of Nabuclod to coastal communities such as Lambiki, and to remote communities beyond our immediate surroundings, our members have continued to turn compassion into action through education, health and nutrition, music, community outreach, environmental initiatives and humanitarian service.

One Facebook Message Became Seven Years of Hope
The Story Behind Gift of Hope
Some of our most meaningful service stories begin in unexpected ways.
Years ago, Joy Quiza of the Alexis Louise Quiza Children’s Foundation in Los Angeles, California, reached out to KC-Lubao Gems through Facebook.
She was looking for a trusted local organization that could help children in the Aeta community of Nabuclod, Pampanga.
Marlyn responded.
The conversation continued.
A partnership began.
And the rest became part of our story.
What began as one message became seven years of Gift of Hope.
Year after year, KC-Lubao Gems and the Alexis Louise Quiza Children’s Foundation have worked together to bring hope, care and meaningful support to children in Nabuclod.
Gift of Hope has become one of the signature projects closest to our hearts—not simply because of the number of children reached, but because of the relationship, trust and commitment behind it.

Our Service Goes Where Children Need Us
Our service journey has taken us to communities with different needs, different challenges and different stories.
🏔️ Nabuclod, Pampanga
Gift of Hope
A continuing commitment to children in the Aeta community through education, care, gifts, nourishment and meaningful partnership.
🌊 Lambiki, Lubao
Coastal Community Outreach
Our connection with Lambiki reaches back to 2012, when we were still known as KC-Lubao. We brought groceries, slippers and a feeding program to schoolchildren.
After the club’s decharterment and later rebirth as KC-Lubao Gems, we continued returning to the coastal community whenever opportunities and resources allowed.
Across the years, we have served the Lambiki area for approximately five years.
Our most recent outreach brought shoebox gifts and snacks to 100 children.
⛰️ Dueg, Tarlac
Indigenous Community Service
Together with fellow Kiwanis clubs in Division 2B, we have also reached Aeta communities in remote areas with much-needed support.

Turning Compassion Into Action
Our projects respond to the needs we see in children, families and communities.
📚 Education & School Support
School supplies and slippers have been among our continuing service efforts from the beginning. We believe that helping children stay prepared for school is one small but meaningful investment in their future.
❤️ Health & Dental Outreach
Our medical and dental missions bring needed healthcare services to coastal and remote communities. Children may receive dental checkups, medicines and fluoride treatment as part of these outreach efforts.
🍎 Food & Nutrition
Feeding activities provide children with nourishment while creating opportunities for volunteers to connect directly with the communities they serve.
🎵 Gift of Music
Through our Gift of Music program, abandoned children in Lubao have the opportunity to learn ukulele, develop confidence and discipline, and experience the joy of music.
🌱 Environment
We believe service also means caring for the communities and environment that future generations will inherit.
🤝 Humanitarian & Community Service
From supporting vulnerable families and communities to serving disabled warriors in Limay, Bataan, our club works alongside fellow Kiwanis clubs and partners when needs arise.

Our work has been strengthened by foundations, schools, businesses, healthcare professionals, local communities, fellow Kiwanis clubs, sponsors, civic organizations and individual supporters who have chosen to work alongside us.
One of the partnerships closest to our hearts is our continuing collaboration with the Alexis Louise Quiza Children’s Foundation through Gift of Hope.
Other partnerships have allowed us to extend our reach, combine resources, share expertise and respond to needs beyond what one organization could accomplish by itself.
