The impact of Kiwanis Club of Lubao Gems is measured not only by what we give, but by the children we reach, the communities we serve, and the partnerships we build along the way.
Since our charter in 2015, our members have continued to turn compassion into action—bringing education, nourishment, healthcare, music, essential supplies, encouragement, and hope to children and families who need support.
From the mountains of Nabuclod to the coastal communities of Lubao and beyond, our service follows one simple principle:
Serve where we can make a difference.
Our Impact in Numbers
Service You Can See. Impact You Can Measure.

602

These numbers represent only part of our continuing journey of service. They are not the reason we serve—they are evidence of what can happen when people choose to serve together.
Where Our Impact Reaches
Our service has taken us to communities with different needs, different challenges, and different stories.

Gift of Hope
For seven consecutive years, Gift of Hope has brought meaningful support to the Aeta community of Nabuclod.
The project provides food and essential items while bringing joy, connection, and a sense of belonging to children and families. In 2025, the project reached 602 learners at Nabuclod Integrated School.
More than a gift-giving activity, Gift of Hope represents a continuing relationship built through trust, partnership, and commitment.

🌊 Lambiki, Lubao
Coastal Community Outreach
Our connection with the Lambiki coastal community goes back to 2012, when the club was still known as KC-Lubao.
Over the years, our members have returned to the area to provide support such as groceries, slippers, feeding activities, and children’s gifts.
Our most recent outreach brought shoebox gifts and snacks to 100 children.
For us, service is not about visiting a community once. It is about remembering the people we have met and returning whenever we have the opportunity and resources to help.

⛰️ Dueg and Other Indigenous Communities
Reaching Children Beyond Our Immediate Community
Our service also extends to indigenous communities in remote areas.
Working with fellow Kiwanians, partners, and volunteers, we have helped bring school supplies, hygiene items, food, and other forms of assistance to children and families who can be difficult to reach.
Distance should not determine whether a child deserves to be remembered.
What Our Service Makes Possible
Our projects may take different forms, but they share one purpose: to improve the lives of children and strengthen the communities around them.
📚 Education & School Support
School supplies, learning materials, slippers, school kits, and other educational support help children prepare for school with greater confidence and dignity.
We believe that even a simple school kit can become a small investment in a child’s future.
❤️ Health & Dental Outreach
Our health and dental activities help bring basic healthcare services closer to children and families in communities where access may be limited.
Through medical and dental missions, children may receive checkups, medicines, dental care, and preventive services.
🍎 Food & Nutrition
Food is one of the most immediate ways to respond to need.
Our feeding and food-distribution activities provide nourishment while creating opportunities for Kiwanians and volunteers to connect personally with the communities they serve.
🎵 Gift of Music
Through Gift of Music, children living in a protective institution have been given an opportunity to discover music through ukulele lessons.
The project goes beyond learning an instrument. It creates opportunities for expression, confidence, discipline, creativity, and connection.
🌱 Environment
We believe that serving children also means caring for the environment they will inherit.
Our environmental activities encourage community participation and remind us that a healthier environment contributes to healthier communities and a better future for children.
🤝 Humanitarian & Community Service
When needs arise, KC-Lubao Gems responds through humanitarian assistance and collaborative community service.
We work with fellow Kiwanis clubs, organizations, professionals, businesses, sponsors, and individual supporters to extend our reach beyond what our club could accomplish alone.
More Than Giving: The Impact Behind the Project
A school kit may look like a simple collection of supplies.
To a child, it can mean being ready for school.
A pair of slippers may look like a small gift.
To a family, it can mean one less expense.
A meal may last only a few minutes.
But the feeling of being remembered can last much longer.
A ukulele lesson may teach a child more than music.
It can create confidence, discipline, creativity, and the courage to try something new.
And when Kiwanians travel long distances to reach a remote community, the journey communicates something equally important:
You matter. We remember you. Your future matters to us.
That is the heart of our impact.
The Power of Partnership
We Don’t Serve Alone.
Meaningful community impact is rarely created by one organization working alone.
Our service has been strengthened by foundations, schools, businesses, healthcare professionals, community leaders, fellow Kiwanis clubs, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and individual supporters who believe that children deserve opportunities to thrive.
One of our most enduring partnerships is our collaboration with the Alexis Louise Quiza Children’s Foundation (ALQCF) through Gift of Hope in Nabuclod.
What began through a Facebook conversation developed into a partnership that has continued for years—demonstrating how one connection can grow into sustained service for an entire community.
Partnership turns individual generosity into collective impact.

From Mountains to Coastlines
Our impact is not confined to one community.
We have served children and families in:
Nabuclod • Lambiki • Lubao • Dueg • Tarlac • Bataan • Other communities reached through collaborative Kiwanis service
Each community has its own needs.
Each project has its own story.
But the commitment remains the same:
Serving the Children of the World.
The People Behind the Numbers
Impact does not happen because of statistics.
It happens because people choose to serve.
Our Kiwanians give their time, skills, resources, professional expertise, creativity, leadership, and energy.
Some organize projects.
Some build partnerships.
Some raise funds.
Some travel to remote communities.
Some teach.
Some document the work.
Some work quietly behind the scenes.
And some simply show up when they are needed.
Together, they make service possible.
Behind every number is a person who chose to care.
Our Impact Continues
The figures on this page represent a snapshot of our service—not the end of the story.
Needs continue to change.
Communities continue to grow.
Children continue to need opportunities, encouragement, and people who believe in them.
So we will continue to listen.
We will continue to partner.
We will continue to show up.
And we will continue looking for meaningful ways to turn compassion into action.
Because when we serve children today, we help build stronger communities for tomorrow.
Be Part of the Impact
You do not have to be a Kiwanian to make a difference.
You can help by:
Volunteering your time or skills Supporting a service project Partnering with our club Sponsoring children and communities Sharing our story Becoming a Kiwanian and serving alongside us
Every contribution matters. Every partnership expands our reach. Every act of service can change a child’s day—and sometimes, a child’s future.
