At the Kiwanis Club of Lubao Gems, we believe service is more than a single activity or a number on a report.
It is a child who receives school supplies. A family that receives practical assistance. A community that knows someone cares. A young person who discovers music. A volunteer who finds a reason to keep serving.
Since our club’s journey began, our members have continued to serve children and communities through education, health, children’s welfare, community outreach, Indigenous community service, and partnerships.

Our service reaches children and communities in Lubao and surrounding areas, including communities that may be difficult to reach or have limited resources.

🎓 EDUCATION & CHILD DEVELOPMENT
We support children and learners through educational materials, school-related assistance, learning resources, and activities that encourage confidence and development.
Our work recognizes that education is one of the most important foundations for a child’s future.
Our service also recognizes that children need opportunities to create, express themselves, and discover their potential.
Through initiatives such as our work with children in residential care, music has become a way to encourage connection, confidence, creativity, and joy.
Some of our most meaningful initiatives did not happen only once.
They developed because members saw an ongoing need and chose to return.
Our Gift of Hope outreach to Nabuclod is one example of this continuing commitment. Other projects have evolved through relationships with schools, communities, children’s organizations, and local partners.
This is an important part of our identity:
We don’t want service to end when the event ends.
Where a continuing need exists and resources allow, we seek ways to return, strengthen relationships, and build sustainable service.
