Alexis Louise Quiza Children’s Foundation
A Partnership Built on Trust, Compassion and Continuity
One of the most meaningful partnerships in the history of KC-Lubao Gems is our continuing collaboration with the Alexis Louise Quiza Children’s Foundation (ALQCF).
The partnership began when Joy Quiza reached out to KC-Lubao Gems through Facebook while looking for a trusted local organization that could help the Aeta children of Nabuclod, Floridablanca, Pampanga.
One message became a partnership.
That partnership became Gift of Hope.
And what began as a simple connection has grown into a continuing commitment to the children and families of Nabuclod.
Through the years, the partnership has helped provide:
Christmas grocery packs for Aeta families
School supplies and educational materials
Meals for children
Clothing and toys
Slippers
Ukuleles and opportunities for music education
Other forms of assistance based on community needs
The partnership has demonstrated what can happen when an organization with resources and a local service organization with community connections work together with trust and a shared purpose.

OB Guitars
Giving Children the Gift of Music
The Gift of Music project demonstrates that a donation can become much more than an object.
OB Guitars donated ukuleles that became an important part of KC-Lubao Gems’ music initiative for children at the RSCC.
The instruments opened an opportunity for children to discover music, creativity and self-expression.
With the dedication of music teacher Mr. Mallari and the continuing involvement of our members, the project has developed into an ongoing music-learning experience.
The ukuleles may be made of wood and strings.
But for the children, they represent something much greater:
**A chance to learn.
A chance to create. A chance to believe in themselves.**
We are grateful to OB Guitars for helping us put the “music” in our Gift of Music.
Schools are among our most important community partners.
Our work has brought us alongside schools and educators in communities including Nabuclod, Lubao, Lambiki, Tarlac and other areas where children and families have needed additional support.

Our early history includes medical and dental outreach, including our September 2012 medical and dental mission in Sta. Catalina, Lubao, combined with a feeding program and health information campaign.
Doctors, nurses, dentists, health workers and other professionals can contribute something that money alone cannot provide:
