Every successful service project begins with people who are willing to take responsibility, work together and turn ideas into action.
For Administrative Year 2026–2027, the Kiwanis Club of Lubao Gems is led by a dedicated team of officers and members of the Board of Directors who share a commitment to children, community service, fellowship and the continued growth of our club.
Our officers provide day-to-day leadership and administration, while the Board of Directors works with them to guide the club’s programs, priorities and long-term direction.
Together, they help keep KC-Lubao Gems moving forward in service to the community.
Our Officers
President
Marilen V. Ramos
The President provides overall leadership for the club, bringing members together around shared goals and ensuring that our service remains aligned with the Kiwanis mission.
A longtime Kiwanian and experienced club leader, Marilen has also served Kiwanis beyond the club level as a former Lieutenant Governor of Division 2B.
Secretary
Marlyn van Es
The Secretary supports the club’s administration, records, communications, reporting and documentation.
As a longtime member and charter member, Marlyn has served the club in various leadership capacities and continues to help preserve and share the story of KC-Lubao Gems through its website, social media and project documentation.
Assistant Secretary
Micaella D. Bonaobra
The Assistant Secretary supports club administration, coordination and communication, helping ensure that information and activities move efficiently among officers and members.
Micaella is also a Past President of KC-Lubao Gems and continues to contribute actively to the club’s service and fellowship.
Treasurer
Laila “Lea” Evaristo
Laila, affectionately known as Lea, is a business owner who brings valuable financial management knowledge and practical business experience to her role as Treasurer.
Her background and skills make her well suited to help oversee the club’s financial administration, budgeting and responsible stewardship of resources entrusted to KC-Lubao Gems.
Sound financial management enables the club to use its resources wisely and direct more of its capacity toward meaningful service and community impact.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors works collectively with the officers to provide governance, guidance and continuity for the club.
Our Board members bring different experiences, skills and perspectives—strengthening the club’s ability to make thoughtful decisions and respond to community needs.

A past president and former Lieutenant Governor of Division 2B, Reynaldo brings extensive Kiwanis leadership and membership-development experience to the Board.

Board Member
A longtime member of KC-Lubao Gems and a real estate professional, Anna Leah brings organizational, professional and community experience to the Board.

Membership & Growth Committee
Chair: Reynaldo Bonaobra
The Membership & Growth Committee focuses on strengthening the club by welcoming new members, supporting member engagement and helping build a sustainable future for KC-Lubao Gems.
Club Public Relations & Marketing Committee
Chair: Marlyn van Es
The PR & Marketing Committee helps tell the KC-Lubao Gems story through the club website, social media, project documentation, photography, videos and other communications.
Its goal is not simply to promote the club, but to make the club’s service visible, credible and accessible to potential members, donors, volunteers and community partners.
Finance Committee
Chair: Merced Miguel
The Finance Committee supports responsible financial planning, stewardship and oversight, helping ensure that club resources are managed carefully and aligned with the club’s service priorities.
Service Projects Committee
Chair: Joan Dizon
The Service Projects Committee helps coordinate the club’s service activities—from identifying community needs and planning projects to coordinating members, volunteers and partners in bringing those projects to life.
Leadership Is a Team Effort
At KC-Lubao Gems, leadership does not rest on the shoulders of one person.

From the club’s beginnings as Kiwanis Club of Lubao in 2012, through its development as Kiwanis Club of Lubao Gems, generations of officers, directors and members have contributed their time, skills and leadership.
