Division 2B: Better to Best, Building Up Kiwanis

A Year of Service, Unity, and Impact

The Administrative Year 2024–2025 marked a remarkable journey for Kiwanis Division 2B, led by the dynamic Lieutenant Governor Reynaldo M. Bonaobra. With eight clubs working hand in hand, the Division went beyond ordinary service to achieve extraordinary impact, touching the lives of over 10,200 children and 460 families, investing more than Php1.4 million in projects, and dedicating over 2,834 service hours.

This was not just a year of service — it was a year of unity, growth, and historic milestones for the Division.

  • BUG/Terrific Kids: 7 of 8 clubs recognized children with awards and medals at school year-end
  • Joint Projects: 4 held in Pampanga and Tarlac, plus a Relief Operation in Bacolor, Pampanga supported by the Philippine Luzon District’s Calamity Fund and the generosity of District Governor-elect Atty. Aleta Tolentino, a fellow Cabalen.

Historic Milestones:

  • 1st Inter-Island Division Council Meeting in Puerto Princesa, Palawan
  • 1st New Member Orientation led by the Philippine Luzon District Education Team
  • 7 clubs recognized as Outstanding Clubs
  • 3 clubs received Branding and Image Awards
  • Php22,000 donation to Typhoon Kristine victims in Bicol

  • Served 1,013 children | Project Cost: Php350,000 | Service Hours: 350 | Growth: +8
  • Signature Projects: Feeding and gift-giving, medical and dental missions, and one-year grocery/scholarship support for Munting Tahanan ng Nazareth.

Kiwanis Club of Bacolor

  • Served 286 children, 50 families | Project Cost: Php78,981 | Service Hours: 355 | Growth: +9
  • Signature Project: Awit at Biyaya – Sharing joy and blessings through music.

Kiwanis Club of Guagua New Generation

  • Served 518 children, 30 families | Project Cost: Php68,825 | Service Hours: 260 | Growth: +2
  • Signature Project: Kiwanis Nook of Wisdom – A mini-library with a mural, now on its 2nd year.

Kiwanis Club of Kuliat

  • Served 4,248 children, 150 families | Project Cost: Php190,325 | Service Hours: 488 | Growth: +2
  • Signature Project: KKK (Knowledge, Key to our Kalikasan) – Teaching waste management to children and families.

Kiwanis Club of Lubao Gems

  • Served 3,036 children, 17 families | Project Cost: Php461,475 | Service Hours: 536 | Growth: +11
  • Signature Projects: Gift of Hope – School kits and slippers for Aeta students in Nabuclod (6th year); Gift of Music – Ukulele lessons for abandoned children.

Kiwanis Club of Mariveles

  • Served 538 children, 10 families | Project Cost: Php83,525 | Service Hours: 315 | Growth: +5
  • Signature Projects: Children’s Park maintenance, livelihood training, and SPED monthly feeding and gift-giving.

Kiwanis Club of Metro Tarlac

  • Served 415 children, 17 families | Project Cost: Php106,700 | Service Hours: 310 | Growth: +6
  • Signature Project: Kiwanis Nook of Wisdom – Mini-library for learning and reading.

Kiwanis Club of Tres Heneracion

  • Served 178 children, 17 families | Project Cost: Php47,820 | Service Hours: 220 | Growth: 0
  • Signature Project: Gift-giving for underprivileged children.

Leadership and Unity: The Keys to Success

The success of Division 2B was not the result of one person but of collective spirit and collaboration. From joint projects to typhoon relief, to consistent attendance across 11 Division Council Meetings, the Division exemplified teamwork and resilience.

At the helm, Lt. Governor Reynaldo M. Bonaobra provided steady leadership and inspiration, earning the Distinguished Member Medal and recognition for his commitment to growth and service. His guidance, matched with the tireless efforts of every Kiwanian, truly brought Division 2B from Better to Best.
